How do I purchase a knife?
We're not accepting orders or a wait list at this time. We're currently selling our knives "Maker's Choice" here on our website via a combination of FCFS (first come first serve) product drops and lottery style sales. Due to demand, we currently have a limit of 1 knife per household per drop/lottery, regardless of model or configuration. FCFS product drops happen on the homepage of our website. Lottery sales happen on the "Lottery Entry" page of our website. If you'd like to be alerted of our lotteries and announced FCFS product drops, please sign up for our email newsletter at the bottom of our website! We also try to exhibit at a couple knife shows each year, where we sell our knives in person. Show knives are typically sold FCFS, one per person in line until sold out. All show sales are final. We currently do not sell to any vendors. All original sales happen directly from us here on our website. Please proceed with caution if purchasing OZ Machine Company products from any other company, location, or individual.
Can I get a replacement COA (Cirtificate of Authenticity) or box/pouch?
Because counterfeit replicas of our products are now being made by other companies, we do not replace lost COAs or product packaging. If you have a damaged COA or packaging, we may be able to replace it for a fee. Please contact us via email customerservice@ozmachinecompany.com to discuss.
We do not update COAs to match modifications.
How do I confirm authenticity?
If you'd like to inquire about a knife's authenticity, please send photos showing all sides of the knife including the backspacer, the serial number on the blade, and the COA to customerservice@ozmachinecompany.com. We will compare the photos to our records and do the best we can to assist you with your inquiry, as well as possible via photos. We do not get involved in secondary sales or guarantee a response time for authenticity checks, but we will do the best we can to respond promptly.
Can I buy replacement parts?
We sell replacement screws, pins, bearings, and pen O-rings here on our website at the following link: Hardware & Replacement Parts – OZ Machine Company
We occasionally sell Titanium replacement clips on an as-needed basis if your clip has been damaged beyond use. We are not selling replacement clips for cosmetic reasons (scratches, color, material preference, etc.) at this time. Please reach out to us at customerservice@ozmachinecompany.com to inquire. To expedite your inquiry, please include photos of all sides of the knife including the backspacer, the serial number on the blade, and the COA so we can confirm authenticity.
We do not sell replacement barrels, lock inserts, scales, blades, or backspacers individually. These parts are all integral and specific to the knife, as each of our knives is painstakingly assembled and tuned to its original parts for optimal action and performance. If you have an issue with your knife that requires one of these parts to be replaced, please refer to our service information, below.
We highly discourage part swapping of any kind, as each of our knives is tuned to its specific original parts and any variance can cause diminished action and possibly cause the knife to malfunction.
Can I send my knife in service, sharpening, modifications, or refurbishing?
We do offer a sharpen/clean/adjustment service for our knives, as well as functional repairs, as long as the knife is authentic, has not been part swapped, heavily modified, or abused from misuse or neglect. At the sole discretion of OZ Machine Company, we reserve the right to deny repair services for knives that have been part swapped, modified, or abused from misuse or neglect. Service work is only accepted at certain times and only upon pre-approval by email from customerservice@ozmachinecompany.com. Please be aware that we are only offering select services, and not all requests can/will be accepted. We are not offering refinishing, cosmetic refurbishing, or modifications at this time.
If you would like to request service for your knife, please email us at customerservice@ozmachinecompany.com. To expedite your inquiry, please include photos of all sides of the knife including the backspacer, the serial number on the blade, and the COA so we can confirm authenticity. We do not provide service for knives manufactured by other companies.
Our most recent service form will be provided upon approval of a service request. This service form must be completed, signed, and included with the service knife. Each service request is treated individually. Additional items cannot be sent in for service without pre-approval. If an item is sent to OZ MACHINE COMPANY without
pre-approval, we will not work on the item, and it will be sent back to the customer at their risk once they provide a shipping label for its return. If no return label is sent within 30 days, the item will be disposed of.
How do I contact OZ Machine Company?
Our only means of communication is via email at customerservice@ozmachinecompany.com. We're adamantly working to improve our response times. Please bear with us as we carefully grow our small team. We truly appreciate you!
Please do not expect a response from OZ Machine Company via social media, as we receive thousands of messages and they cannot be sorted or filtered in a manageable way.
Please be aware that anyone contacting you via social media claiming to be OZ Machine Company and asking you to send them your products or payment is a scammer. All payments are made via our website, https://ozmachinecompany.com. To protect yourself from scammers/fraud, do not send payment information, contact information, or discuss OZ Machine Company services with anyone claiming to be OZ Machine Company if it is not directly from this web address or customerservice@ozmachinecompany.com. OZ Machine Company will not ask you for payment information. Any invoices sent to you by OZ Machine Company will come from the email address listed above and will direct you to our website for you to securely enter your own payment information.
